Data Sharing |
The members of NURSA have agreed to freely share transgenic animals, reagents (antibodies and other), data and expertise prior to publication. The NURSA website will be the primary vehicle for data sharing by the consortium. In order to promote data and reagent sharing, the members have agreed that the contributions of the individual investigator and laboratory providing the data or reagent should be acknowledged, including co-authorship on resulting publications.
After publication, all NURSA reagents will be shared with the research community at large. The members of NURSA are also committed to fostering the careers of junior investigators, so that everyone associated with NURSA benefits scientifically and in terms of career development. Moreover, whenever possible, it is expected that there will be cooperation between groups performing similar studies so as to minimize the duplication of research effort. |
