Description
Bicalutamide is a competitive non-steroidal antagonist of the androgen receptor (AR), a steroid receptor member of the nuclear receptor superfamily of transcription factors. It is used as a treatment for prostate cancer, both as monotherapy and as part of combined androgen blockade (CAB).
