Name
Thyroid receptor-associated proteincomplex 220 kDa component
Symbol
TRAP220
Originally isolated as PBP, a PPAR-γ binding protein, TRAP220 is a nuclear receptor interaction subunit of the broad spectrum DRIP/TRAP coregulator complex, which mediates transcriptional activation by members of the nuclear receptor superfamily and other transcription factors. This subunit has been individually characterized as a nuclear receptor coactivator.
