Name
Cyclin E1
Symbol
Cyclin E1
Cyclin E is a regulatory subunit of the cyclin dependent kinase CDK2, driving cell cycle progression from G1 to S phase, and increased expression of cyclin E is a frequent event in human malignancies. Cyclin E has been identified as an AF-1 specific coactivator of androgen receptor (AR) mediated transcription.
