Name
Splicing factor 3a, subunit 1, 120kDa
Symbol
SF3A1
Splicing factor SF3A subunit 1 was characterized as a component of the ER-AF1 complex to potentiate human ERα-mediated transactivation as well as RNA splicing through interaction with Ser118 phosphorylated receptor, suggesting that MAPK-mediated cross-talk between growth factor and estrogen-signaling pathways can modulate RNA splicing through the phosphorylation-dependent interaction between ERα and a component of the spliceosome complex.
