Name
Peroxisomal proliferator-activated receptor A interacting complex 285
Symbol
PRIC285

Overview

PRIC285 is a member of a multisubunit complex containing a variety of individually-characterized nuclear receptor coregulators, such as CBP, SRC-1, PGC-1α, TRAP100 and PBP. PRIC285 has been individually characterized as a coregulator in its own rght, as a coactivator for peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor-α (PPAR-α).

Expression

REA is expressed in a variety of physiological systems, including the metabolic (skeletal muscle, liver, kidney), gastrointestinal (colon), immune (spleen), reproductive (placenta), cardiovascular (peripheral blood leukocytes) and respiratory (lung) systems.
